Our aloe plantation bases were established in 2000 in Guangdong and Hainan with a plantation area growing to more than 500 acres. All of our aloe plants are Aloe Barbadensis Miller and were originally imported directly from Texas in the United States.
We currently have more than 3 million aloe plants and our annual yield can be more than 8,000 tons. Taking advantage of the perfect soil, tropical temperatures, clean ocean air, organic fertilizers and quality farm management, AGHG aloe plantation bases are now the largest, most standardized and oraganicaily certified commercial aloe bases in China.
Our pure and healthy aloe leaves have passed all tests conducted by national departments and laboratories. The nutritional components in AGHG's aloe exceed all national standards.
Consistent with the requirements of our organic certification, we do not use any pesticides, herbicides or chemical fertilizers. We only use natural fertilizers and mulch. We select and harvest our leaves very carefully by hand to ensure their quality.
Our attention to quality control runs through each processing step. Our quality assurance begins in the field and continues through processing, packaging and delivery to our customers.
Our farms are registered through the Import and Export Inspection and the Quarantine Bureau in Guangdong Province.
Originating in Africa and the Mediterranean Sea Region, Aloe Vera is a perennial succulent that is a member of the Lily family. It can tolerate drought and high temperatures, but it cannot survive even a few hours at below freezing temperatures. This intolerance to cold is why it can only be grown in tropical weather regions.
Aloe is a natural green plant which simultaneously brings both health and beauty to AGHG's products.
Aloe Barbadensis Miller is sometimes called "the beautician" because of its beauty benefits. Americans have been known to call Aloe Vera "the Century tree" because of its promotion of long life and good health. The Japanese often call it "the Family doctor".
Today, Aloe Barbadensis Miller is used around the world in dietary supplements, beverages, skin care and cosmetics.
